I have this bluetooth adapter and it has good range. I think I got for like $30 from Newegg about a year ago. One thing to note is that it uses Toshiba drivers, not Widcomm. If you have a device you want to connect to, you may want to find out first which driver your device works best with. If it's Widcomm, this may not be the best bluetooth adapter for you.
