With my old phone, I used to be able to email my cell phone with songs, or pictures. It would show up on my phone as a text or picture message, and I'd be able to save the attachments as music/ringtones/pictures/whatever.
Now, I got a new phone (Verizon Alias) and it removes all attachments before accepting the message.
Anyone else familiar with this problem? Is that just Verizon's way of trying to keep me from sending stuff to myself rather than downloading it?
