Cell phones with better sound

Are there any models that have a higher quality ringing sound than that annoying high-pitch stuff that drives me crazy sometimes ?

you should put "ringing" in the title... because i don't think that's what most people think of when they see your title.

Yes the newer ones have much better ringing options. Instead of sounding like a PC speaker they sound like a nicely synthesized melody.

AKA Ring Tones. Some are single notes (monophonic) and some have polyphonic sounds (ie. can play chords).

The problem is, people download their pleasent little melodies and then when their phone is ringing, they (well most) refuse to answer it before the song is over.

I remember my old Nokia 918 (like 5 years ago). It was a great phone and I could set it to sound like the ring tone that goes off on track 4 of "Before These Crowded Streets". :D
