Cell Phones cause brain damage in lab tests on rats.

Is the same scientific community that had people frightened of sacharine(sp?) and peanut butter?

probably but at least it wasn't like some of the sacharine tests where the rats were given the equivolent of a human drinking 600 diet sodas containing sacharine a day.......

honestly how many people put a cell phone to the side of their head for 2 hours a day for 50 days straight?
(i know lots of lawyers and stock brokers and such would but....)

I know Nextels can't be good for you, just look at all the other interference they cause with speakers and such. Glad I don't have one of those glued to my head for multiple hours a day!

what happens if you put a scuba diver underwater with ONLY PURE oxygen??

does that mean that oxygen is bad for you??

What if you make comparisons to things that have no relevance to whether THIS THING is bad for you?

No, but what if the effect is cumulative? So it took 50 days at 2 hours/day, so it would take 100 days at 1 hour, 200 days at 30 min, and 400 days at 15 min/day. So if you use your cell phone for an average of 15 min/day, you could have brain cancer in a year. And if it's not that significant, how about 5 or 10 years? I'm sure we'll be using cell phones 10 years from now. Makes me kinda worried. But not so much that I'll quit using mine.

I use my phone for about 5 min/day. I'm not worried. This though was merely 100 hours. Dayum! That's alarming. We'll see if it can be replicated. I already knew that cellphones weaken the part of the brain responsible for driving, though.

how does it have no relevance??

most people would have seen without me explicitly stating it that the point is, anything to an extreme can be bad for you, that does not mean that in moderation the same thing is bad for you. for eg. oxygen.

do i have to spell it out for you farther?

What about when you put the phone in the pocket or clip on the belt? I wonder what it'll do to your little swimmers (for guys)?
