So my phone crapped out on me, is there a good way to get a new phone on the cheap. I've still got a Verizon contract so yea..

used one on ebay? make sure it's a verizon cdma

you sure your broke one is out of warranty?

the last one i picked up (the one that's not working) was from ebay. its a motorola v710. The contacts are not meeting up so its not charging.

Seems like a common thing for that model... mine too!

Did you try cleaning them with a toothbrush? those little contacts get dirty quickly.

dampen the toothbrush with rubbing alcohol and lightly scrub them. Dry throughly, and try charging.

if no luck, check the warranty here:


find your ESN (Select: Menu > Settings > Phone Status > Other Info > ESN)

then go here:
