I need a new cell phone, nothing fancy. Since the feature that I would like is rather odd, I feel that I should base my purchase around this feature. I use Novell's Evolution email client. It is my favorite email client out of all that I have used. So, I need a cell phone that syncs with its contacts and calender. If such a phone exists, I would like to purchase one. I would prefer CDMA since that is what AllTel uses (and that is the carrier that all of my friends / family use), but I am open to other carriers that have good coverage in the southeast as I am still using the phone that Tracphone sent me for free when they phased out analog.

Thanks!

From what it looks like, the only phone that will do it reliably without alot of workarounds is the Palm Treo 755p. From what I can tell there is a native Evolution app for Palm OS. You may be able to do it with a Blackberry or Windows Mobile phone by going thru a 3rd party (maybe google mail/calendar would work?) and then syncing your phone to that.

Thanks guys, after digging I found that OpenSync has an evolution and Motorola plugin. I went with an unlocked Motorola ROKR E8, I will report back if I get it to work (once it comes in, apparently I snagged the last one off of New Egg as it went out of stock after I ordered). If not, looks like I will be switching to outlook.
