I have Cingular service, needed a new phone, so I bought a v60iT from a co-worker thinking I could just activate it under my current number. Can't do that, says AT&T, Cingular, and every other vendor I 've called. Have read where phones can be 'unlocked'...is this the case or am I stuck?

Thanks.:disgust:

Pay $20 and get the phone unlocked...
PM me if you are interested.
On a side note, if you really want a new phone, call Cingular customer service and let them know that they need to give you a phone credit or you will cancel, they will. :D

Do you know how to unlock an ATT 8260? I'd pay $20 for that!
