Cell phone stores selling copyrighted faceplates

What are the penalties if at all you're caught selling copyrighted faceplates? I know a lot of stores around my area sell copyrighted Disney faceplates, NFL, NHL, NBA teams etc. All of them do not have the "trademarked" stamp on them either.

Are these guys just taking a huge risk on selling these or do the customs or whoever regulates this market just not care?
 
I don't think the cops give a fux0r. And I don't think anyone else would waste their time and resources conducting an investigation on faceplates.
 
I know of many stores that have been shut down for selling copyrighted apparel. However, I'm not sure about cell phone faceplates. I would bet that they are legal with or without the trademark.
