we should rat you out as well, i'm pretty sure you have illegal mp3s and illegal programs.

there would be no businesses if they shut down all the ones using pirated software/stuffs, i bet at least 50% do, at least all the small/one owner operations....doesnt bother me...

try blackmailing them, maybe you can get some hot deals ;)

I'm tired of both sides of this. The industry should back off buggin private citizens, and business shouldn't be playing pirated/out of license movies.

In the grand scheme of things, who cares? I know my cats couldn't care less... And they think they're gods!

The last time I went in Circuit City they were showing Tears of the Sun on one of the computers, I noticed it had a DVD drive so I popped it open, what do I see? The Tears of the Sun DVD. Yes the actual DVD you can buy. I fear for society, I really do.

It is alright for individuals to pirate but not companies?

Nobody gets angry when all of us use KaZaA, IRC, Newsgroups, WASTE, etc - yet if a little shop is showing Finding Nemo (not even selling it!), it's the end of the world? Give me a fvcking break. Pathetic. Single yourself out too if you're going to single out the store.

Anyway... they SHOULDN'T do that, but I wouldn't care if I saw something like that. It wouldn't bother me one bit, cause I know they wouldn't be cutting into "Finding Nemo's profits", and they aren't doing anything morally wrong, even if they are ''technically'' breaking the law. They are not hurting or offending anyone so it's fine by me.

Same thing with cars... if someone is speeding but they know what they're doing, and aren't being wreckless - I have no problem with it. If someone is being wreckless I don't care WHAT speed they're going at, they shouldn't be on the road.

heh

If it was the whole thing they might deserve some heat if you're feeling mean. This is something that happens frequently to wireless isps kinda'. One guy in town isn't running a completely legal setup, but its cheaper for him so he likes it. Should the guy who is following the law suffer because he has to spend more to stay legal with his certified gear? I don't think in that situation it would be wrong to contact the FCC and in this case if you feel like they're pirating all their software or something I think letting the BSA know might not be the worst thing in the world. Worst case scenario they might audit them, or they might do nothing, especially since they're so small.
