Cell Phone Screen cracked

I just noticed that my cell phone screen is shattered but I'm still able to see whats shown on the screen. I have service thru Verizon and its a practically new. When I signed up for the service I dont think I added Insurance.

I was wondering if I add insurance to the phone now and wait 1-2 months and then say it got damaged, will that work?

Since the phone is only a few months old is there a chance that warranty will cover it?

There is a time limit in which you can add insurance to a phone. I think it's 30 days.

If you're outside that time frame, start checking eBay for Verizon phones. Make sure you get the ESN from the seller and check with Verizon to make sure it will work.

You might want to double check your bill.

I remember when I had verizon, they automatically signed me up for insurance. I had to call and remove it.
