After years of being a Nokia fan I am tried of their non-flip phones. I see that they have come out with a couple of flip phones but I am not sure how good they are.

I am looking for recommendations for a flip phone that has good reception and a good (ie loud) speakerphone. It also must have bluetooth.

Anyone out there really happy with their flip phone?

sounds like GSM, so let's see.. Sony Ericsson has a few nice flip phones out.

BTW, Moto Razr is out of question. Don't even think about it.

I got a LG VX8300 the other day. Like it so far. MP3, cam, speaker, bluetooth. Has every feature available.

It really depends on who your carrier is and what features are most important to you.

Why not!? I like my razor. It's a solidly built phone that has more features than I need and only cost $30...

Edit: Also, it gets really good reception.

Isn't Verizon the one with the GPS voice navigation? That kind of looked cool...

I am with Cingular but any tri/quad band GSM phone should be fine.

The only thing I really care about is good reception, bluetooth and speakerphone.

My current phone has all the bells and whistles in the world... and I hate it. Too big and I don't need it to do everything. That is why I wanted a flip phone. Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check them out.

Well I have Cingular and I just renewed my contract and got a new phone, a Sony Ericsson Z520a. FedEx says I should be getting it in tomorrow, so I'll let you know how it is. Also, take a look on the web, it got pretty good reviews IIRC.

Too bad you're not with Sprint. I've been very happy with the Samsung A920. Before this I had the Sanyo PM8200. Great phone as well.

I'm in the market for a new phone as well, also with Cingular. Just decided on a Samsung D820, looks good, great reviews.

EDIT: I'm coming from a Black V3 Razr. My advice is to stay away from it, if you want a Razr get the new ones. Mine has the dust problems, the best part used to be reception/sound quality and now that is going bad which is forcing me to get a new phone. I've only had this one since January. The D820 isn't a flip though, it's a slider.
