Cell Phone # Portability Question

I may have asked this in another form earlier, but the situation has changed slighly....

Currently: 3 cell phones on a Sprint Family Plan

We are going to move 2 of the #'s to a Cingular Family Plan (main # included) and the 3rd we just want to drop....

If we port the 2 at a cingular store, does the 3rd one (thats tied to the others) automatically get cancelled too?

uh if you dont port the 3rd number to Cingular, you're not going to have it = cancelled. family plan numbers arent tied together really, just on the same bill

Well what im saying is that since that phone only comes up as $19.99 on the bill, i dont want them bumping it to their minimum account and sticking it with a contract for changing.....

Maybe i should cancel that one line before i switch anything.....

why are you going to the store to port the numbers ? That's a waste of time. Do it over the phone by calling Cingular... they'll pull it over. It's not instantaneous anyway.

The dealer in Sams Club sells phones much cheaper than what Cingular does....
