Why does it suck? It's a useful feature for everyone who isn't a criminal.

It's optional, and I like it... You can *gasp* turn it off and *gasp* remove the data after you've taken the photo.

Yup.

I have my phone set to ask me if I want to add location data before taking the photo. If it contains my location, it's my own damn fault.

As others said it's optional so... why is this an issue?

It's actually a pretty cool feature 95% of the time. It's neat to be able to see visually on a map for example where you took all your photos.

I can see it being an issue if you don't know about it, and you publish e.g. pictures of your home or something expensive you own, on a blog for example.. Then the next day you post that you're going on vacation for two weeks...

I have this feature turned off.. Don't need it.

It's fun onthe iPhone to clock the world button and see where you've taken all your photos.

yeah. I guess its new to me. never understood what location services was about until now. heh

FUUUCK. The government at it again. We need to tear down the cell phone towers and nuke the GPS satellites. Who's with me?
