Since the soon to be ex and i are satill in the same house, i figured it might be good to get my own cell phone instead of using the regular line.
That way I dont have to care about whos calling who and how long each of us is talking when the other one wants to call someone...here are the models I am looking at:

Audiovox CDM 8500
Motorola T731
LG VX4400
LG VX6000
LG VX3100

a few links to help people out

I would go with the Motorola simply because they have a better reputation than the others you have listed. I have been selling cellular for about 5 years now, and I have had nothing but problems with Audiovox...and LG...well how would you feel about a company that has the word lucky in its title?? I have the similar motorola T72x and it isn't that good a phone and now is the low end model in Tmobile and Cingular.

I suppose the T73x is similar in feature to the T72x, but for the Whorizon.

LG VX6000 looks to be pretty good.

Picked up 2 VX6000s under my name... they are probably the best out there. Not a bad thing about them.

I picked the free Kyocera 2325 for myself because I like ringer #9. :D
