Cell phone messaging question

Ok...if you remember my old thread, I had figured out how to send text messages to cell phones of other services by sending the message via email...well, my plan crashed and burned, because the stupid company all my friends use (connestoga, www.ceni.com) doesn't support sending messages to email, only receiving...so that plan failed miserably. Is there some other way to send messages to other services?

you can send messages via their phone number only..

if their phone supports it.


I use voicestream.. and it allows me to send text to ATT or Sprint and such.. just with their phone number~..

Hmm...if I just send it to their number, they don't get it...odd...well, Connestoga is supposedly getting bought out by Voicestream soon anyway, so it should work then

not all providers support it.

for sprint to receive text..

they gotta pay extra to use it..


you know they have limits on text messages.

it all depends onthe provider~~

Well they have messaging, and its free and all, but I guess its solely between other Connestoga phones. oh well
