Cell Phone Issue

I have a Nokia Cingular 6340I GAIT Phone (both TDMA and GSM Compatible).

I absolutely hate this phone and the only other cingular model availible the Sony Ericsson T62U

Are there any other phones availible out there, where maybe I can take my sim card and put it in another phone and still use it.
Or am I stuck just using that phone as long as I want to have GSM and TDMA and have a cingular plan?

At this point I have to be able to use TDMA and GSM because I travel out to remote areas and GSM coverage kinda sucks right now.

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated

I thought there were a lot of "Tri-Band" phones out there that will work.

My uncle got me a Nokia 6610 from the Middle East. I popped in my SIM card, and Voila! Works everywhere for Cingular. (Sometimes I'm in T-Mobile or ATT Wireless, but it's all part of my plan through Cingular.)
