looking into a new verizon family plan at the moment (2 lines)-- does anyone know if calls made between these phones use minutes? or is it unlimited minutes for calls made from family phone to family phone.

thanks :)

Personally I never sign any cell phone contracts this long... 2 yrs is a long time, and a lot can happen (eg. I might suddenly have to move somewhere else, then I would be stuck paying the penalty)... The most I would sign is 1-yr...

But then again that's just me... really depends on what your plans are for the next 2 yrs...

The longest I go for is 1 year which T-Mobile does.

What if cell phone service sucks? you're stuck with $30 x 24 months = $720 ouch!

My wife and I are about to get T-Mobile plans. After researching all of them, they seem to have the best deals. If you only want to spend $40/month, I don't know why you'd go with anything else. I couldn't get by on 300-500 minutes per month. T-Mobile: $40/month, 1000 minutes. No roaming, and long distance included.

my main concern with Tmobile is thier coverage area-- i will probably be doing a lot of traveling for my job-- and verizon has the best coverage from what i've read. So i dont have to be worried about being out on the road and not getting a signal.

and for 50 dollars a month, i get 500 anytime, and unlimited nights and weekends for 2 phones... so thats only 25 dollars a month per phone. No roaming, long distance also included.
