I am using Cingular right now with Motorola V220. I am paying about $40 plus fees per month with 450 minutes a month. I have 3300 minutes of rollover.

Any good deals going on right now? I am not unhappy with Cingular, just want to know whether anyone knows of any great deals going on right now.

Edit: I live in a metro area of 300K people down south <East Texas/West Louisiana>.

Don't really know of any great deals but I would stay with Cingular..........

I did pick up my razr a few months for $18.88 at Brandsmart. No problems upgrading and extending the contract even though it was a "new service only" thing..........

What type of phone are you looking for?

Yeah we have pretty good coverage most places here. Hell I get coverage up in the mountains at some places.

I am waiting to get a Nokia 6682 when my "new every 2" occurs (in September this year). The 6682 will replace my trust 6230!

I am tempted to switch to sprint for the 7pm nights and cheapo plans. Also for the Samsung A900 they've got... NICE PHONE. I am a Nokia whore though, so I'll stick to GSM probably :)

Less than $20 for a razr? Was it two years deal? I like to keep my contract 1 year or less. What is this Brandsmart?

I refer flip <clamshell> phones, had candybar phone before.

sprint has a good deal right now. it is the sprint employee referral program.

<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="https://sprint.p.delivery.net/m/p/sprint/EPC/epclanding.asp"><a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="https://sprint.p.delivery.net/m/p/sprint/EPC/epclanding.asp">https://sprint.p.delivery.net/m/p/sprint/EPC/epclanding.asp</a></a>

I have had for a month and it is a fantastic plan.

$30
500 Anytime Minutes
Unlimited Mobile to Mobile
Unlimited Vision (internet, picture mail, instant messaging)
Unlimited Nights and Weekend
No Roaming Charges

I added 7pm nights for $5.00. The unlimited net is the kicker for me. I got a treo 650 so I that I can use Bluetooth DUN on my powerbook. This plan would cost about $80 with Sprint, and with everyone else's data plan prices it would be higher somewhere else. You may not need data services but at this price... why not?

You can also go up to the 1250 minutes plan which is $50.

You need a sprint employee's email addy to get into the system. PM me if you want to check out the phones and details.

The a900 is $179.99

Brandsmart

Yeah. It was a two year extension but that doesn't really bother me.

That Fly(something) company has some nice deals for existing members if you extent your contract for 2 more years. This is on phones, free razr, etc.

I dropped at&t (cingular) for sprint. Service has been good here in Northern Virginia. With the SERO plan mentioned above, I'm getting more minutes and unlimited internet on my A900 for less per month!

I like my T-Mobile plan. $44 plus fees for 1000 anytime minutes + unlimited nights and weekends. Gotta love Deutschland.

Marked because I'm changing too. We're getting out of our Verizon contract and are looking for the best deal for our company (about 10 phones).

Bump... can't decide between Treo 650 or the A900. Very different, yet both are very cool/useful.

Sprint and T mobile are not very good around here. I will check and see if they have any great deals.

I will swing by Verizon later and see if they can beat what I currenlty have at Cingular.

I dropped my RAZR in a toilet last week and bought a l7 slvr to replace it. So far so good, no complaints.

Can't wait to flash the firmware on it though- My RAZR was so heavily modded (faster menu loads, battery life, themes, etc.)
