Anyone seen such ads for it appears to be a sticker you place on the back of your phone, and amazingly, your reception improves.

Anyone ever try it and is proud to say it works, or proud to admit that they've been had?

eLay has many clones, probally all BS anyways.
 
I asked this here a while back and was told they are a waste of time and money.

Shoot, I even installed an extended (3&quot😉 antenna in my Nokia 5165 and it doesn't make a noticeable difference. Why would a sticker with some pretty gold paint on it make any difference?
 
Do you really think a company like Nokia or Motorolla would miss something so simple while spending millions on R&D of new cellphones?
 
Most new cell phones antennas are built on the inside, it is no longer neccessary to have a large outside antennae and an external excessory is just likely to cost you more money.
