Cell phone battery differences 1000mAH & 1200mAH

My cell phone battery is dying and need a new one. My currenty battery is a 1000mAH Ni-MH. I'm looking at a ion batteries and was wondering what the difference was between the 1000mAh and the 1200mAH battery as they are the same price.

1200mAH should give you more talk time but I don't bother with aftermarket batteries anymore. They never seem to last as long as OEM ones even if the originals are of lower capacity. My $0.02

You can buy Ni-MH replacements at Target for a lot of different phones now for only a few bucks extra. Buy one of those. You need to let them sit on the charger for a lot longer, but you do get extra talk time from them.

EDIT Forget that ^^^^^ above. I thought you were asking about cordless phones, not cell phones.
