Cell phone antennas...

You know those golden foil sticker thingies they sell on TV really late at night... the ones that allegedly increase your signal strength...

Do they work?

My uncle says no.

I just got a new cell phone and it has a pretty phallic antenna on it. I'm considering changing it to one of those short stud ones. Anyone have any thoughts on those?

I dunno... I'm beginning to think that "Nokia" is Swedish for crap.

I have never had a Nokia phone that was worth a crap... ever...ever...ever.

My guess is if its playing in the middle of the night on an infomercial, no, it doesn't work...

That's too bad. I firmly believe that Nokia manufactures the best phones in the world. I've had 'em all...Sony/Ericsson, Motorolas, Nokias, a Kyocera, and one Samsung. Nokia is the only phone that i've decided to continually purchase (over time when they become "extinct") and highly recommend them to all my friends/customers.
