Celery Mobo Advice

I outgrew my 300a cpu and bought a cII 633. My mom was still using the old p166. I figured I'd upgrade her computer. Probaby buy a inwin ATX case or something. My question is what mobo should I get for the 300a? Should I get another Abit BH6? She already has a viper 330 (which is perfect), a sb16 pnp (perfect for her again)... I really don't want to spend a lot of money so any suggestions on mobo's and where to get them would be helpful. I plan on using the same hdd, video card, sound, cdrom and disk drive. All I would need to buy is a case, mobo and pc100 ram.

Are you sure you've wrung all the use out of your mom's PC? I just bought a Pentium 233MMX to replace an old Cyrix for a cobbled together system. $50.00 locally. About $10.00 more than I wanted to spend, but 1 year warranty. See if you can get a used one for $25.00 or so. Speed won't be too far from the Celeron 300 as far as she is concerned, but should show a decent jump in performance from where she is at. Saves buying the new case and mobo, which is a good savings.

I've been building some inexpensive Celeron systems for my kids school's computer lab. Check out the for sale/trade forum. You can pick up a decent LX board for less than $25. Most quality LX boards can handle up to a celeron 533 & has 66, 75, and 83 mhz bus speeds.
