Your Celeron 600 is probably cc0 stepping (default voltage = 1.7v). Intel changed the reset pin location on the cc0 Celerons. You can fix this problem by adding a jumper from cpu pin locations AH4 to X4. I did this mod on my BM6 by soldering a jumper on the back of the motherboard. My cc0 566 wouldn't post prior to adding the jumper and is now running stable at 936 MHz.

so the latest bios for the BM6 says "Supports Celeron 566(66) and 600(66) MHz CPUs."
Now I feel pretty stupid... got my 600MHz Celeron Flip Chip PGA and I'm gonna have to add a jumper?

Any other way (if I don't want to overclock)... or am I missing something here. Time for a new mobo?

after all my reading, looks like I'm gonna have to use one of these with my 'CO' 600 Mhz FCPGA

It also looks like the chances of overclocking with this isn't as much an option :(
