Celeron Tualatin question

this is probably a dumb question but are the celeron tualatin cpus the same size as older celerons such as the coppermine? i ask because i want to know if my old cpu fan and heatsink will fit on it correctly still.
 
yea, they're the same size
both of them fit in socket 370(although they're different in pin arrangement)
 
The Tualatins have an IHS (integrated heat spreader). The older HS may not cover the IHS on the Tualatin. Check closely before you mount it.
 
yeah i read something about that and wasn't sure. i haven't bought the cpu yet so i don't know what it is exactly but i think i read somewhere that it could be removed and wasn't really necessary.
