This case only has 1 pathetic case fan. I'm gonna have to figure out a way to give it another 1 or 2. This thing is really scary. Previously this casing was housing a P3 550. At that time, I didn't have any idea what was the temp coz there wasn't any monitors on that mobo.

Your temps don?t sound right. A stock 1.4 Cel-T at default vcore and with the retail hsf should be well below even 40C at load.

I have a Celeron-T 1.0A @ 1.33. At stock vcore (1.475v) and with stock cooling I run ~ 32/35 idle/load with no case fans.

I would probably generally want to keep my temps below 45C with a the P3 based cores like the Cel-T.

You can do the ..."finger CPU temp test? ? to check the temp of your HS (no-joke). Basically a HS will become too hot to keep your fingers on it around 50C. If your CPU temps are really running close to 50C, that HS should feel darn HOT.

Edit: Add, at 35C, my HS only feels midly warm to the touch.

That depends if the temp reported is internal die temp from the diode or an external sensor mounted in the socket underneath the cpu.
Internal diode temps will always be higher

Out of curiosity, anyone of you using an MSI EPT-Pro R? I'm not sure if the temp recorded is from an internal diode.

Edit: Confirm that the CPU temp is from the diode. Still a bit high huh?
