celeron to duron and hard drive conflict?

I am going to change my mobo and celery to a duron and the microstar (ktpro}im going to to keep my hard drive ,will it load back up normal or is there any thing weird that happens

Well, I just redid my system form a Celeron 633@950 and Abit mobo, to what I have listed below. My hard drive was ok for the most part, but I was getting some little errors and stuff. Always best to redo your HD when switching boards.

What os?
Win98, I'd plan on going into safemode, remove everything from device manager.
Force it to redetect hardware..... after about 3 reboots or so the system should have detected everything again.

Win2k.... good luck. Haven't had much luck myself. unable to get around "Inaccessible boot device" errors.
