Hi I have a Toshiba C655-S5049 that my kids use and the motherboard broke. I was wondering if I could use a different motherboard and processor from the same series to get rid of the integrated graphics so they can play their games. ebay has reputable resellers that sell inexpensive used tested motherboards and processors for about 80 bucks total.
If this can be done could you tell me the best way to go.
They already have their Christmas presents I cant get them new netbooks and they cant use my laptop.

You would have to see if any other laptops in the same chassis/range came with something better in terms of video hardware, and then you wouldahve to check to see if it fits in your laptop housing, which it might. But to be quite honest I doubt you'll find anythign with even decent video in that range of products.
