UPDATE. I got it to run at 723 but for the life of me it won't run @922 like it used to. I played wth the multilyer but it seems to got to 723 without changing the multiplyer. I did crank the voltage to 1.75. I can also set the AGP lock buut I'm not sure at what. It defaults to 1/1 but I can set it to 2.3 also. I wish I could remember what I used to do because I remember it running at 922. I will relace the cmos battery .maybe it won't hold the setting but then again I get it to post @922 it just won't load windows .... starts to then just hangs.

Also ..is there a setting for the PC to shut off itself....I thought all ATX unts did. I have to hold the power-on button untill it shuts off .

Lot of this goin' around lately
He got a HELLUVA lot more help here in a hurry, compared to General Hardware. I can just imagine the pile of useless replies he'd get there, telling him to buy replacement stuff...

Did you put some fresh heatsink paste on there? The cheap stuff dries out over time.

I thought Compuwiz was one of the Troll hunters here, but I could very well be wrong. Russ only pops in once every four years to poke fun at the presidential election losers.

Good luck with that project, and Merry Christmas!
