Celeron or Pentium?

Looking to upgrade my PC. Just got an ASUS Socket478. Now looking for a CPU replacement. I know people are dissing the Celery, but I own an older 400MGZ Celeron, and its not too bad. But I hear Intel is coming up with the Celeron at 2.5 & 2.6GHZ (and then 2.7 & 2.8) each month. Is it worth the wait, even with the 128 L2 cache?

In a word - no.

Celerons, while "okay" performers, still suck and/or blow when compared to the full P4 core, even at their discount. Not worth it.
