Celeron MB Advice

I have recently upgraded my system to a AMD TB 1GHz, and the hand me downs have begun.
I want to upgrade my GF's BF6/Celery 300(o/c 450) to have one of my previous Celery 466s that are in my Abit BP6 board. I was going to give her the dual setup, but I don't think she would like Windows 2K and some of her games/proggies may not work properly. And my parents would get the other 466.
So I was thinking of getting a Slotkit for her BF6, but I think the GlobalWin fan I have won't fit in that setup due to the memory placement.
Now I am thinking of buying another Socket 370 board and put one 466 in it for her (one that goes to the P3s for future use) and then give my folks the BP6 with a single processor in it and keep the BF6@450 for myself (possibly a dedicated burner)
Would this be the best way to go about it? and if so what is a good Socket 370 board. I am thinking the Abit VH6.

Cheers and thanks

stay away from CUBX series... they are horrible with celeron II's and although i'm using a celeron 400@500 on a CUBX-L right now, it's not that great,... thats my only advice, that and Abit makes damn nice boards!

Only thing I can see with this board is that it is a slot one and I would have to use a Slotkit to get it working... and I believe my GlobalWin would overrun the memory clots.
I may just look for a socket 370 board.

If the computer already has a cpu @450, why mess with it only to change it to 466/66. Sounds like a downgrade to me.

Thanks Jeremy, I was wondering that as well, but I figure I can get the 466 to around 580 on a 83Mhz FSB or possibly higher with a lil tweaking. I would be using a Globalwin FDP32. Especially seeing that I have 2 spare 466s on the BP6 now. I know I can get it to 525 easy enough, which is what I had running on the BP6 dual setup, but my Adaptec didn't like going higher. And doing this I would be using the 300@450 as my person dedicated CD Burner and she would have a new board that could support the P3s easily, unlike the BP6.

Will toss this around and weigh my options.

Thanks
