Hello everyone. 🙂
I'm not really sure if this question is more hardware or software-related, but I'm guessing it's a hardware issue, so here goes:
Just the other day I upgraded from a Celeron 366 (ran at 550) to a Celeron II 533 (running at 800). Prior to the switch, the game I play the most, NHL 2000, worked perfectly fine. Since the switch, however, NHL 2000 crashes every time with a GPF window... "NHL2K executed an invalid instruction in module NHL2K.EXE at 0157:0065f94c." The game also crashes with the same message when I'm running the new CPU at its base 533 speed.
Anyone have any ideas/suggestions/similar experiences? I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks!
