Ok I finaly got Cel.667(retail from outpost.com) to work with my Asus p2b-d rev.1.04 and MSI slotket at 1.8 Vcore. Golden orb didnt fit so I put it in with stock fan and cooler plus I have 2 additional fans in my case blowing at the slotket card. If neccessary I could adapt golden orb to my dual board. Anyhow, it just doesnt boot above 83 mhz.
At 83 mhz however my bios(flashed to 1013 beta 7) recognizes it as 833 mhz celeron. Here are my sandra benchmarks:

Before After
P2-400 Celeron 667
448mhz @ 112mhz FSB 833mhz @ 83mhz FSB
-----------------------------------------------------------------
CPU Benchmark:
Dhrystone ALU
1207 MIPS 2235 MIPS
Whetstone FPU
599 MFLOPS 1122 MFLOPS

CPU Multimedia:
Integer MMX
1644 it/s 4540 it/s
Floating-Point FPU
651 it/s 5561 it/s

Memory Benchmarks:
Int ALU/RAM Bandwidth
234 MB/s 225 MB/S
Float FPU/RAM Bandwidth
337 MB/s 272 MB/S

So the synthetic benchmarks show that performance has drastically improved over my p2-400, while memory bandwidth has been somewhat reduced. As far as real world performance, Unreal Tournament Gold is finally playable at 800x600 at high detail(more than 30 fps for sure). Now, I dont know what impact 83 mhz bus speed will have on my peripherals, hard drive, tv tuner, usb printer & camera etc, but do you think that cc0 stepping celeron 667 has a better chance of achieving 100 mhz speed on my mobo? I can alway return my celeron to outpost.....
If so do you guys know of good deals on cc0 celerons 600-700

You will have better luck at hitting the 100 FSB with a C2 566@850 or 600@900. A pretty good percentage of 633's make 950. But I would try retail 566 or 600.
