Celeron goes to 2.4 soon

Yeah I bet that Celeron 2.4 would get absolutely trounced by something like an XP1700.

"Can't polish a turd"

hahaha... fantastic!

What this means is that despite the high final speed, the Celeron will still lick balls. People may remember that a certain tech site had one of these elaborate keychains up to 3Ghz, at which point it was having trouble seeing off a puny 1600+ XP.

Expect to see these dogs in about 1 month from now, when they will be 'released'. The 'Eye suggests you avoid them like they were WMD.

LMAO😀

Maybe now it can compete with a Tualeron 1.2GHz 😀

LOL! I know, a Celery 2Ghz we have at works seems as slow as one of the P3 733MHz sometimes. But maybe it's because it uses Windows XP comared to Window s98.

I agree wholeheartily. I've had the 300a Celeron oc'ed to 450MHz, a 566MHz Coppermine Celeron oc'ed to 876Mhz and my current rig which is a 1.4GHz Tualatin Celeron oc'ed to 1.68GHz and I have been more than happy with their performance. But these Pentium 4-based Sellouterons are absolute garbage and America should target Intel next for daring to put out such a cruddy 'CPU'!:|
