Celeron 850 won't run, could it be the Slot 1/Socket370 converter?

I'm running an Abit BH6 with a good old 366 celeron runnin at 550. I just got a Celeron 850, but I can't get the darn thing to boot, and I was wondering if it might be the Slot 1 to Socket 370 converter card I am using? I'm thinking it might not be set up to deal with the lower 1.7v of the new celeron. At this point I'm open to any ideas, I mainly just wanted to throw in a quick & cheap upgrade till I put together an athlon system later this year.

Thanks in advance.

Some slockets are only for PPGA, some also support FCPGA. You need the latter. What bios version is the BH6 running?

Already did it :( The bios lets me select multipliers up to 9, and low voltages around 1.5 or so. Maybe there is some kinda voodoo stick I can wave over it...

Nope, won't post, won't do anything. No signal from the video card if I have the new Celeron 850 installed. I'm kinda thinking now that maybe it was my slot 1 to socket 370 converter card, the whole ppga/fc-pga thing. I'm bout to take it apart and see if I can find out exactly who made the converter card and what the specs are. Thanks for all the advice so far, it has been helpful.

If you got that slocket when you went for the 366 @ 550, its likely an old version that does not support FCPGA.
