I haven't looked very hard, but has there been any successful overclocking in this area?

Anands lame article doesn't hit on overclocking it at all.

Sharkyextreme overclocked it a little, I think they hit like 930-960, that area

Not too good, when they overclocled the 800 to 900+ it barely outperformed the duron 800, thats sad, but I still like intel anyways

Why? I'm gonna spend $160 (probably more) on a CPU that can't outperform a $80 dollar CPU... yeah.

I still like intel cos its the first thing I learnt to build, my celeron600@962 runs great and ihave no regrets, as for the celeron800 anybody willing to buy that wannabe P3 would be outa their friggin minds cos thats one expensive piece of ..... We asll know that the 100fsb dont mean jack

You have to know that the majority of people buying computers see the low price of durons as a sign that they suck and will crash their computer, have compatibility problems and that quality=intel.

Tell me about it... $180 for a Celeron 800/100 128k, when you can get a Piii800/133 256k for about the same price.

Intel and their logic is beyond me. :p
