Celeron 600 or 633?

i'll be buying a new cpu for my BH6 mobo. im currently using cel 450 and i think that's the bottleneck on my system. Now the cpu i'll be getting will be BOTH RETAIL. im wondering which will have better chance of 100fsb overclocking? as 600 has lower multiplier i would think it would have more chance but most ppl talk about successful O/C with 633 and not much talk (good or bad) about 600.

Any ideas? thanx

Check these guys out:

PcNut

I purchased my combo BH-6/celery300 OCed to 464.

There are other guys out there too, but this guy was good for me.

I hope this helps, he may be a little higher than others but heck he pre-tests them so you don't have to gamble.

Sorry you didn't say you wanted a p3. and its 130 and he is pricey! And your right a p3 would be better for 180. You could gamble and pick up a celery 600 + hs + fan + slocket for much less.

I have two bh6's both have 633@950 the bh6 ver.1.0 I flashed to the ss bios,and it now has the 9.5 mutiplier.The ohter board is a bh6 ver.1.2
and I flashed it to the sp bios. The cpus came from onvia.com at $72 each,I think. The 633's are cbo p3 cored cels are o/c very well.Mine use the stock cooler that comes with the retail cpu, zero heat problems. The older bh6 runs at 1.70 vlts, the newer bh6,the ver1.2 runs at 1.75.Both are very stable.Whats cool about the bh6 ver.1.2 is that it has the 1/4 mutiplier after 124 bus speed.Good luck.
