yesterday, I finally bought one of those "850 MHZ" processors
but i noticed a strange thing about it... its default voltage was 1,7 V (as well in the code on the processor as in the auto configuration) I compared the thing with an older one (also 566, but not capable of running at 850) and noticed some other diferences... (the core semed to be the same)
the plastic was lighter, you could easily see the "wire-ing" in it and at the bottom side there were 5 out of 10 things mounted (you know, those little pipes)in stead of 2... the metal strokes where the other (cache?) things could be mounted was visible. (the older one had these melted in)
WHY 1,7 V by default ???
WHY different models ??? (is one of them actually a 133 mhz core and the other intended to be a 100 MHz core ?):Q
