My system has been acting up lately. I'm gettting GP'fs at the 100mhz bus speed.

Does anyone know some bios settings i should try?

system:
366 @550
96mb pc100
sb live value
ibm 20GB HD
matrox g200 marvel
dlink NIC
memorex 32x cdrom
stock heatsink and fan

It seems to run fine when i drop down to 66 mhz bus. But it ran fine the past year at 100mhz.

the cpu temp in the bios is around 48C

should the cas settting be 2 or 3?

thanks,

That temp seems a bit warm. I had a 366/550 on my BM6 (which is now currently running my 533A@840) and the temps rarely went above 35C. You might want to get a new heatsink fan combo to reduce the heat and improve stability.

open case to pc,clean all dust out.Take heat sink off cpu, clean and re apply thermal compound.Find cpu cooler prg.called rain2.0,freeware,run it with motherboard monitor, and then post back what your temp. readings are.

You are definately running hot. When I had a 366@550, it ran no where near that temp on my bm6. I agree with squirreldog, and you might want to replace your cpu fan, it might be running at LOW RPM's, and not providing enough cooling. My 366 I actually ran at 578mhz 2.05 volts with
the stock heatsink fan combo with radio shack thermal compound.
