I still have three of these running in different PC's. An Abit BH-6, BX6-R2 and an ASUS P3F-B. The 300a's are great overclockers as is well known, however, if the voltage can not be raised the success rate for a stable system drops a good bit. Approximately 90% would overclock with reasonable voltages (2.0 to 2.2V) but significantly fewer would go at 2.0V or lower. Sometimes only a very minor tweak such as 2.05 was required to get stable on some of my setups. Of the three I still have running, only one does 464mhz at 2.0V, one only runs at 2.2V and the other at 2.05V. The ASUS is a good stable board and will give the best shot at a 2.0V overclock.
Sure did like these chips - top of the line performance for less that $100 at the time. And still excellent for most applications except for high-end gaming. Enjoy and good luck. Lark
