I know the normal Celerons will work on this board with a slotket adapter and a bios upgrade, but will this work with the new Celerons?

I doubt it would work. If the board has an update to a recent BIOS it might work. You can always try.

i think it might work (bios autodetects the mult), but you would need a socket adapter with a voltage regulator on it to get the voltage down for the coppermine cpu

It may work. You'd have to check the specs of the motherboard. I have a Tekram EX motherboard that will support a voltage as low as 1.3V, so theoretically, I should be able to use the Cel2's with a new slocket. Haven't had the chance to find out yet. The only reason you would want to do this with an LX or EX board is if you know the Cel2 won't do the dance at 100MHz FSB.
