I have a crappy eMachine with a 2.0 Celeron processor.

I want to build a PVR and need a MB that has an 8x AGP slot and can use the 2.0 Celeron chip.

I also want to move over 768mb of PC2100 memory to the new MB.

I would appreciate recommendations on MB's, and particularly any that are on special right now.

Thanks

I'm not sure about the AGP 8X, do you really need that? Real life performance difference between 4X and 8X is minimal. Anyway, just about any socket 478 mobo that supports 100MHz (aka 400) should do. I would recommend sticking with an Intel chipset though. Maybe you could find an 845PE or Granite Bay chipset m/b at a good price, now that the 800MHz FSB m/b's have made them obsolete.
