Celeron @ 1Ghz on BH6?

I'm looking at upgrading my celeron 300a@450/BH6 combo, and am curious if anyone has had success with any 667 chips, CcO maybe, at the Ghz level? I have read on numerous posts that the 566-633 chips will easily make it to their 100mhz FSB of 850-950mhz. My BH6 is rev. 1.0 so I'm looking at an OC that won't mess up my PCI bus. If there have been any stability issues at the Ghz speed it'd be great to hear of any input.

Thanks. =)

Check out www.overclockers.com. They have a cpu database that you can use to see how many people hit 1ghz with the Celery II 667mhz. But I can tell you know it will be very hard to hit 1ghz. Running a Celery II in the 900mhz range is much easier.

It should work on your board if you get a good cpu.

I bought 4 667's. 2 did 1GHz at 1.9v
I sold one here and put the other in one of my kids computers.

With a 667, you either get 100MHz fsb, or you end up at 83MHz fsb, which is out of spec for the pci bus in most systems.

Realizing it was only 4 cpus I tested, I believe it's like a coin flip, or 50/50.
