celeron 1.2G vcore locked?

i got my TUSL2-C and 1.2G celeron (tualatin). flashed my TUSL2-C to 1011 beta 4. the vcore is locked at 1.4, no matter what I do. do I need to do the vcored mod? any help is appreciated.

Ping, something's not quite right with your setup. My setup is identical to yours, except I'm using the last official BIOS release (1011) and I have many voltage adjustments, up to 1.85, I think. I would suggest you flash back to the 1011 and see if that helps. BTW, you will probably need to set the CPU back to default while flashing. That may have been why it did what it did last time?

thanks, Rmcky for the tip. I flashed to the latest beta bios 1011.004 from the asus's german site. vcore is still 1.48v. the latest official from asus.com, which i also tried and didn't work, is ver. 1010. I got a TUSL2-C made from China, which everyone at asusboards.com abhored. i might tried the vmod with mine.

with latest bios for that board (dated 10/17/01, or something like that, and from the Asus website, not a beta), the vcore adjustments are activated in the bios, something that was not available with the original bios and the Tualatins, but quickly fixed.

i have one and flashed it right away, now running very nicely thank you.

why are you running the beta bios when the most recent one from ASUS kicks ass???

and i have to ask, do you know where to look in the bios??? if so, then your beta bios sucks and doesn't activate the vcore adjustments properly in the bios, you need the issue from ASUS and yer problems will be solved.
