Asaka 80-60 fan adapter (25mm tall)
Vantec Tornado 80*80*35mm @ 75% power (approxmiately 60cfm)
Thermaltake 3-speed fan controller (so the obnoxiously loud won't kill me)
Arctic Silver ceramic syringe
Kingston PC133 512MB CL2
Abit ST6 with voltage mod.

And given:
Intel Celeron 1.2A

Now:

Is 1.8GHz impossible?
 
I would think so... i've never seen a 1.2A go past 1.6 and the highest i've seen for a Tualatin Celeron is 1.7 from a 1.4. Hell I've seen more 1.1As go higher than 1.2s... but if you're one of those lucky ones with a high yield chip...i would say 1.6 is the best you could hope for.
 
1.2 celeron is based on the P3 Right? How large is your L2 cache? 128k?

Wow, at 1.8ghz, maybe as fast as a 2.0ghz p4? If I recall correctly P3s are more efficient at using clock cycles than a p4. A little bit behind the orginal athlon.
 
I have a 1.2GHz Tualitin Celeron and it has 256 KB of L2 cache. I'm running mine at 1.5GHz using the vid pin mod and using 1.700 volts. The highest I can get mine is 1.548GHz using 1.825 volts but the performance increase is negligable and the CPU heats up to near 60 Celsius. I'm seen one guy get his to 1.8GHz using liquid nitrogen to cool it but I don't think you wanna go that far, do you?

but not "worth it" for extreme cooling measures . . . might as well just get a P4.

I also have a Tualatin Celeron 1.2Ghz at 1.5Ghz at default voltage. Getting it to 1.6Ghz takes 1.8v (definitely NOT worth it).

However, you could get lucky with your particular chip - but NOT 1.8Ghz w/o extreme cooling.
