Celebrity marriages

Actually, they used to last as long as other marriages. Maybe they still do and the average marriage simply does not last as long as during the fifties. Thing is, the media tend to concentrate on divorces because that is drama and therefore sells more but there are many celebrity marriages that have lasted quite long still. Think for example of Susan Sarandon's marriage. Tom Hanks's. Michael J. Fox's.
 
OP, what are you smoking?
I guess if non celebrity marriages made the news you'd realize that many of them are short-lived too.
