I don't believe any pro sports players should have "celebrity" status. They should be popular in their sport, but not anywhere else.

He's not even that good when it comes to pro skaters... mediocre at best. He's just really annoying and appeals to morons that like to see people break things

Im not dissagreeing with you, but to put him in the same category as someone like Paris Hilton is offensive to Bam. He actually has some resemblance of talent while Paris was born with money and a mouth.
