Y'know, we've got to be the only country with shows like "Entertainment Tonight" or "Access Hollywood", and of course thousands of magazines to compliment them. What's the point of these shows? To broadcast things like "Hollywood's Hottest Couples" or "why [insert name here] actor/actress is breaking up with [insert name]." Not only is it completely an invasion of someone's privacy, but we all have to ask ourselves:

WHO F***ING CARES!?

Yeah, they're like everyone else, people. They have tragedies, loss in family and friends and loved ones, the trials and tribulations of relationships, etc. Everybody has these things. Why the hell should we care these peoples' personal lives? Because they were in a few movies? They've been on TV? God...leave em alone, let them live their lives. Their job is to entertain you, not present you with all their life's problems. And even if they didn't mind, which I'm sure they do (wouldn't you?), why the hell do you care about what's going on in their life?

I, for one, cannot believe how many frickin AWARDS shows there are now.

CRIMINEY! Are celebrities that damned insecure that they've gotten have DOZENS of award shows so they can maybe win some stupid piece of metal and plastic?

Your entire rant could not be more wrong. The celebs in Europe are hounded nonstop by paparazi and tabloids to a point that makes the U.S. rags look like amateurs. You really need to grow up and get out of the U.S. before you start making statements like that.

What he said is true here. Maybe it is worse in Europe, but so what? His rant is not wrong.

The Paparazzi, while crappy in morals, yes, does not create stupid, trite shows like ET or Access Hollywood. They create tabloids and make up fake stories about the people they photographed. It's not the same thing.
