Struggling to understand the argument the OP is trying to make here. Because celebrities emit a lot of carbon climate change isn’t real?

Jesus Christ is that dumb.

If that is what you got from the OP then you have serious reading comprehension issues. I'm pointing out they hypocrisy of elitist liberals that preach sacrifice for the sake of the planet while making no such sacrifice themselves.

Our ability to impact the climate is real, but I do believe the extent of the damage and the doom & gloom scenarios predicted are FUD, though. Go figure, Youtube removed it, but I had a great video bookmarked that was a collection of climate change predictions from the 70's and 80's, the sky was going to fall in 30-50 years according to each and every clip in the video. It hasn't happened, lies for profit. Republicans aren't the only ones that have masted the art of creating a bogyman to instill fear and exploit for votes. Remember when Al Gore predicted sea level rise that would be measured in feet just a handful of years back?

Who cares what celebrities and Al Gore say?

Do you know of any specifically that will not release carbon, are affordable, and can be produced at the levels required?

It's a matter of releasing LESS carbon not necessarily zero.
It's a matter of ramping up production that will make these options more affordable. Not to mention, maybe humans need to look at their overall consumption of energy in general (like your OP was trying to get across, right?)
It's a matter of investing in the alternatives and future NOW (and not the archaic) so that they CAN be produced at the levels required (also see above point)

You have to be one of the dumbest motherfuckers I have ever seen online. You really can't connect a dot or have a logical train of thought if you tried.

I was asking a question, to someone else no less, and you throw a tantrum. Grow up.

But but.. according to Slow, the opinions of these celebrities are more important than the facts established by scientists. A conclusion he came to logically and tantrum-free, of course.

According to Wikipedai, "An Inconvenient Truth" is the 11th highest grossing documentary since 1982. Sounds like some people watched it.

Luckily Gore's predictions were bullshit, like earlier climate change predictions.

Is the reason that you bring Gore and celebrities into the climate change discussion because you're unable to debate any of the scientific facts regarding the issue?

So no different than "Christians" who don't give to charity and "conservatives" who spend their entire careers in the public sector.

You don't have facts, you have evidence and theory. What IS fact though, is that many doom and gloom predictions from past decades about climate change have not come true. There is a FACT for you to suck on.
