Celebrating birthday at a club for a guy. POLL.

my friend wants to celebrate his birthday with us (us being our group of friends) at a club. See, I know that he is only doing it because his gf wants him to have it at a club, she's been getting into the clubbing scene.

I'm not going for 2 reasons, clubbing doesn't appeal to me, and he isn't doing something that I know he truly wants to do for his birthday.

what do you guys feel about celebrating your birthday at a club if you don't know how to dance (btw, my friend doesn't know how to dance).

You don't need to know how to dance to dance at a club.

It'll be fun if you guys are a fun bunch of people. Let it be known throughout the place it's his birthday...

if he is your friend, you will go celebrate it with him regardless of where it is. If he doesn't like clubbing but did it for his girlfriend, then he won't have that much fun, which means he needs you more there than anything.

that's exactly what i'm thinking, just be there for him, but there is a part of me that just wants him to just do what he wants to do, and i'm trying to make that statement by not going.

looks like majority of voters are telling me to go, so i'll go.
