celebrate 21st birthday or study for finals- what would you do if you were me?

well, today is my 21st birthday , and it is also the day before my physics final... a test in which i need to do good on in order to pass the class.

You only turn 21 once.. and i really want to go out, celebrate, drink, and have a good time...
but my test is tomorrow morning at 8am... if i dont study tonight, i'm almost certain that i'll wake up tomorrow hungover and i'll probably fail.. which would be bad.. real bad.

so if you were me.. what would you do... have fun or study?

i've been 21 for 17 hours now and i still havent bought any alcohol. :disgust:

Go party. You can retake the class if you really have to. Though, you could have just as much fun on the night after. Me, I would party and pass the test anyway.

Stay in and study. You can celebrate your birthday the day after or on the weekend. Take this advice from someone who's older. Yea, your only 21 once, but you don't want to look back a week later and kick yourself in the ass for not studying. Going out and drinking on your birthday is no big deal.

I´d stay in and studdy, your finals stay with you for the rest of your life while you just get older and have more birthdays.

you all are no fun.. here i am looking for some way to rationalize myself going out and drinking... and what do i get.. everybody saying stay in and study.. you all are no fun.

but yeah, i actually do agree with you all.. i'll be 21 tomorrow.. and the day after that.. i still have plenty of time to go out and have fun. And I guess i probably was going to stay in tonight anyways.. oh well.

Its really going to suck when i fail my phsyics test anyways.

I feel you... on my 21st birthday (two fridays ago) I had two cs projects due, one at 11pm, the other at midnight. I stayed in coding up until midnight, then hit up the bars downtown until they closed at 2... too bad we only hit up 2 bars though

well i had the same prob when i turned 21, the weekend before spring finals is when mine falls. for my 21st i partied like it was 1999

well.. i stayed in and studied like a good student....
i woke up and took my test at 8 this morning- probably the hardest test i've ever taken in my life, even with studying i still didnt know anything.. i dont think i failed, maybe got a C if i'm lucky.

definetly going to go get drunk right now though.

I would like to say go party your ass off, but me being the nerd that I am would highly recommend that you stay in your apartment and study. Then you can go celebrate your 21st birthday AND passing your physics class!
